C4D Quicksteps Dynamic Chain with Rigid Simulation

C4D Quicksteps Dynamic Chain with Rigid Simulation Simulate the Chain: Play the animation or use the dynamics timeline to simulate the chain's behavior. You should see the chain reacting to gravity and colliding with the collider objects in the scene. To create a dynamic chain using rigid body simulation in Cinema 4D, you can follow these quick tips: Model the Chain: Start by creating a single link of the chain. You can use a cylinder or any other suitable shape. Duplicate the link to create the desired length of the chain. Connect the Links: Select all the chain links and use the Connect Objects + Delete command to merge them into a single object. This step is important for the simulation to treat the chain as a single entity. Set Up Rigid Body Dynamics: Select the chain object and enable the Rigid Body tag from the Simulation menu. Set the Type to "Static Mesh" or "Moving Mesh" depending on your requirements. Adjust other parameters like Friction, Bounce, ...
